About the Role We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI systems for a leading retail client. The ideal candidate will have recent experience building and shipping AI agents, implementing multi-agent orchestration, and developing scalable LLM-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities Design and build production-ready AI agents and multi-agent orchestration systems. Develop Agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI Assistants API. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions with effective context engineering. Implement memory and state management using vector databases and durable workflows. Develop evaluation frameworks, observability, telemetry, guardrails, and failure analysis for AI systems. Build scalable AI services using Python, FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI applications. Optimize latency, token usage, cost, and overall AI system performance.
Required Skills 5–8 years of software engineering experience. Recent (within the last 1–2 years) hands-on experience building production Agentic AI systems. Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals. Experience with foundation models such as OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, or Amazon Bedrock. Hands-on experience with one or more Agentic AI frameworks: LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Assistants API Strong knowledge of: Multi-agent orchestration, Tool calling, Context engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Memory and state management, Vector databases, Prompt engineering Experience deploying production applications using FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Retail or CPG industry experience. Experience with Claude Agent SDK. LLM evaluation frameworks and observability. Cost optimization for LLM applications. Strong stakeholder communication skills.
