Role Title: Automation Quality Engineer (Playwright – Salesforce) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months of contract with Possible extension

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in Playwright automation and Salesforce application testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce-based applications, particularly Salesbuilder solutions. Exposure to AccelIQ automation framework/tools is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities: Automation & Testing- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) Automate Salesforce UI, workflows, and business processes for end-to-end validation Build reusable automation components and enhance automation frameworks Execute and maintain automated regression test suites Test Execution- Perform: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End Testing Collaboration & Defect Management- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams Analyze, log, and track defects using: JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), ALM Support defect resolution and retesting cycles Integration & API Testing- Validate integrations between Salesforce and other systems Perform basic API testing and validation Process Improvement- Enhance automation coverage, stability, and performance Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in QA/Automation Testing 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright automation Strong proficiency in: JavaScript / TypeScript, UI automation & cross-browser testing, Selectors and DOM handling Hands-on experience in Salesforce testing: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Custom applications Experience with: AccelIQ or similar automation frameworks Strong understanding of: SDLC, STLC, QA processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with test management and defect tracking tools: JIRA, ADO, ALM Basic knowledge of API testing

Preferred Skills: Experience in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines Exposure to API automation tools: Postman, REST Assured Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem: Objects, Apex, Lightning Components, Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) Prior experience in Banking/Financial domain
