We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Consultant for a targeted, fast-paced 2-month project. The primary objective of this contract is to transition our data from an on-premises SharePoint environment over to OneDrive and Microsoft 365. This is a dual-focus role: you will handle the heavy lifting of the technical migration (scripting and execution) and lead the human element of change management by designing and hosting webinars to get our team up to speed.

Key Responsibilitie sAssess the current on-premises SharePoint architecture and prepare robust migration scripts (via PowerShell or specialized tools) to ensure seamless data transfer. Plan, schedule, and execute phased, batched migrations to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruption. Monitor migration logs, troubleshoot permissions or file-path errors, and validate data integrity post-migration. Develop user-friendly training materials and host live OneDrive webinars to train internal staff on file management, collaboration, and syncing in the new environment

. Required Skills & Experience: Deep knowledge of SharePoint (On-Premises) and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (specifically OneDrive for Business). Proven experience using native Microsoft migration tools (e.g., SharePoint Migration Tool - SPMT) or third-party solutions (e.g., ShareGate). Strong proficiency in PowerShell for automated data migration, mapping, and provisioning. Demonstrated history of managing large-scale, batched data migrations without data loss. Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering engaging webinars to non-technical audiences.
