Online – Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, and finalize official grades.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

Grade 12 or equivalent

Journeyperson Certificate in Parts Technician.

Recent/relevant management, supervisory, and/or leadership experience

Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to the construction industry.

Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous business practices and community partnerships.
-
Demonstrated experience in instructing in an online post-secondary environment.
-
Effective communication skills (written and oral).
-
Effective interpersonal skills.

Effective instructional ability.
-
Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.

Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
