Job Title: Golf Course Groundskeeper (Greenskeeper 2)

About the Role

Do you love the outdoors, staying active, and seeing the immediate results of a hard day's work? We are looking for reliable and motivated Greenskeepers 2 to join our grounds maintenance crew for the upcoming season!

In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily golf course operations. You’ll work with a passionate team to ensure our greens, fairways, and pristine grounds are beautiful, safe, and ready for players every single day. No prior golf experience? No problem! We provide full training. If you have a strong work ethic, love early mornings, and enjoy teamwork, this is the perfect summer role for you.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Course Maintenance: Assist with the daily care and upkeep of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and roughs.
• Turf & Detailing: Mow grass using specialized walk-behind or riding mowers , and meticulously trim and edge around greens, cart paths, and landscaped areas.
• Bunker Care: Rake and maintain sand bunkers so they are perfectly playable.
• Course Setup: Help set up the daily course elements, including moving cups, setting tee markers, placing signage, and changing flags.
• Watering & Aesthetics: Water turf and landscaping as directed , pick up debris, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the golf course.
• Safety & Equipment: Safely operate basic hand tools and maintenance equipment while following all workplace safety, environmental, and WHMIS procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the crew and report any equipment or turf hazards directly to supervisors.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

• Experience: No prior golf course experience is required—we will train you on everything you need to know! (Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience is considered an asset) .
• Fitness & Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mindset: A strong work ethic, reliability , great attention to detail , and a safety-first attitude.
• Team Spirit: A positive attitude with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability: Must be available for early morning start times, weekends, and holiday shifts.
