Hiring Unit: Bioresource Engineering
Position Summary: Responsibilities are to support the shop coordinator in many tasks, including but not limited to: enforcing safety, providing tool/equipment access to trained and approved TSB users, and fabrication/repair of equipment/material. Support their student peers in their work at the TSB (Technical Services Building), report issues to the shop coordinator and act as a TSB representative with other students.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities: CURRENT McGill Student (Student RAs) -
Knowledge how to work in a mechanical shop, ability to learn and work independently, strong time management skills, good sense of priorities, good professional conduct, awareness of basic safety protocols, be personable
