Nexus, powered by St. Clair SRC, is a state-of-the-art esports and gaming facility that gives students a space to connect, compete, and explore gaming culture. We’re looking for tech-savvy and friendly student team members to join our crew and support day-to-day operations of the arena. Position Overview: The Nexus Student Tech Support position is ideal for gamers and IT enthusiasts. In this role, you’ll help maintain gaming systems, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, assist users, and support events or tournaments hosted in the arena. Key Responsibilities: Assist users with login support, PC use, and general questions Troubleshoot hardware, software, and internet connectivity issues Maintain and update gaming PCs and peripherals (e.g., headsets, monitors, keyboards) Monitor arena activity and enforce rules and code of conduct Provide event support (e.g., tournaments, special gaming nights) Keep the arena clean, safe, and welcoming for all players Qualifications: Must be a current student at St. Clair College Passionate about gaming, esports, and technology Friendly, approachable, and professional under pressure Able to work evenings, weekends, or around school schedule Strong communication and teamwork skills IT or gaming experience is not required but definitely a plus!
