Food Services Helper – Level A Department of National Defence (22 Wing North Bay) Contract: Temporary (10 Working Days) with Potential Extension Pay rate:17.6/hr

Amyantek Inc. is hiring a Food Services Helper – Level A to support the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Food Services team at 22 Wing North Bay. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a professional commercial kitchen environment. No previous kitchen experience is required. If the selected candidate is a good fit, there is a possibility of an extension beyond the initial assignment.

Location: Hornell Heights, North Bay, ON Duration: Initial 10 working days (approximately 2 weeks) with possibility of extension Schedule: Monday to Friday Early Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Late Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils manually and using commercial dishwashing equipment. Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, counters, tables, equipment, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and organizing food items. Maintain fruit and dessert stations. Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and kitchen hygiene procedures. Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned. Qualifications No previous experience required. Basic Food Safety Certification is considered an asset. Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg and standing for extended periods. Reliable transportation to report for early morning shifts (5:30 AM start). Must provide and wear a clean uniform. Successful criminal background check required. Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance is required. Additional Information Initial requirement is for one (1) Level A resource. If operational requirements continue and performance is satisfactory, the contract may be extended.
