Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale healthcare transformation initiative for Service New Brunswick (SNB). The successful candidate will collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, clinical stakeholders, and third-party vendors to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements supporting Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and healthcare application modernization. This role includes both operational support for existing systems and project-based work involving enterprise Clinical Information Systems (CIS), application upgrades, integrations, and healthcare transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle. Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirements elicitation sessions. Perform business process analysis, workflow mapping, use case development, and gap analysis. Conduct impact assessments and identify system dependencies. Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, technical assessments, and solution design documentation. Support Clinical Information System (CIS) implementation, optimization, consolidation, upgrades, and integrations. Coordinate application changes with internal technical teams, clinical stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Support maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational activities for existing clinical applications. Analyze downstream application impacts including Laboratory, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Registration, Scheduling, Nursing, and related clinical systems. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, allied health professionals, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and operational leadership. Present updates to executive leadership, steering committees, governance groups, and project stakeholders. Mentor junior Business Analysts and support knowledge sharing across project teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting large-scale healthcare and/or government transformation initiatives. Strong experience with: Requirements elicitation and management Stakeholder engagement Workshop facilitation Business process analysis Use case and workflow development Gap analysis Impact assessments Functional and technical documentation Solution design support 3+ years working directly with clinical stakeholders including physicians, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and operational leaders. Experience supporting enterprise Clinical Information Systems (CIS) implementations, upgrades, optimizations, consolidations, or replacements. Experience analyzing downstream healthcare applications, interfaces, workflows, integrations, and data exchanges. Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within New Brunswick healthcare organizations (Department of Health, Service New Brunswick, Horizon Health Network, or Vitalité Health Network). Bilingual in English and French. Professional certifications such as: CBAP PMP PMI Certifications CSM Equivalent Business Analysis or Agile certifications Experience presenting to executive leadership, governance committees, and clinical stakeholders. Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
