Job Summary
The Team
Regional Operations is an established, high-performing team that values teamwork and mutual support. With a diverse group of administrators, managers, and technicians, this medium-sized team works closely together on daily operations and plays a key role in supporting communities during emergency events through the Provincial Regional Emergency Operation Centre. The Role
As the Regional Office Administrative Assistant, you'll provide essential administrative support to help the organization function efficiently. Your work will have a direct impact on communities, contributing to emergency management efforts in preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Six (6) months’ experience working in an office setting including the operation of office equipment.
- Six (6) months’ experience/ training in standard computer applications, specifically MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

Post-secondary training in office administration, business, secretarial or other related courses.

Experience monitoring and tracking financial and/or program information.
-
Experience arranging travel.
-
Experience drafting correspondence, maintaining filing system and records management.

Experience working in emergency response within the Incident Command Structure Environment (ICS).

This position has full time on-site requirements.
There is currently a temporary opportunity available until December 31, 2026. This temporary opportunity may extended or become permanent.
