Your Opportunity:
The Stollery Centre for Excellence in Virtual Health is a bold new initiative dedicated to enhancing and integrating virtual care services for all Stollery families within the Edmonton corridor, as well as rural, remote, and Indigenous communities throughout Alberta and the Stollery Children’s Hospital catchment area. As part of this growing Centre, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance access, improve care delivery, and expand the reach of pediatric virtual health services across Stollery programs, AHS departments, and external partners to deliver meaningful, system-wide impact. The work ranges from targeted improvements, expansion and optimization of existing virtual care connections, to complex, multi-faceted project introducing new care modalities, and collaborating across Stollery programs, AHS departments, and external partners to deliver meaningful, system-wide impact. You’ll join a high-performing, cross-functional, self-directed team that values collaboration, innovation and accountability. The team has built strong relationships with stakeholders across the system and is recognized for delivering transformative projects that redefine how pediatric virtual care is delivered. This role is located at the UAH campus. Although rare, you may be required to travel outside of Edmonton area. Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be necessary.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, key responsibilities include: Lead and support the project lifecycle, developing key project deliverables and monitoring timely delivery of milestones and outcomes Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues Apply change management principles to support adoption, including developing communication, training, and engagement materials Collaborate with clinical teams and stakeholders to assess, define, implement, and sustain workflows Facilitate meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements to support alignment and decision-making Contribute to data analysis, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts The success candidate will have: Experience leading or supporting projects in complex, multidisciplinary healthcare environments Strong knowledge of project management principles Experience with change management methodologies and fostering a culture of adoption and engagement Experience with process improvement methodologies Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions Experience working with patient flow, clinical workflows, and/or healthcare system processes Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Healthcare experience in virtual care, pediatric, acute care, or ambulatory settings Success in this role is defined by the ability to: Work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team Take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic environment Deliver high-quality project plans and achieve milestones Build strong relationships and influence diverse stakeholders Navigate complexity and resolve issues collaboratively Drive measurable improvements and actionable outcomes across virtual care initiatives

Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in a health care profession, business, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Experience coordinating and leading teams through project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Formal education, training or experience in project management and/or change management and/or process improvement. Post-Secondary Diploma or Certification in project management and/or change management and/or process improvement. from an accredited institution. Advanced computer sills in MS Office Suite, including MS Teams and Visio. The Centre utilizes Microsoft suite of tools that are embedded within Teams channels.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a unique project environment with limited resources and subject matter expert availability. Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences across all levels of the organization. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience developing materials to convey information and support knowledge transfer. Proven ability to work independently within a large, complex organization, engaging multiple stakeholder groups with varying expertise. Advanced critical thinking, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in a dynamic environment. Experience assessing, defining, implementing, and sustaining workflows and process improvements. Comfort and competence supporting and implementing virtual care modalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Virtual health initiatives (e.g., Remote Patient Monitoring) Broad understanding of healthcare systems and related challenges. Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills
