DevSecOps Platform Engineer
About the role
LeverageTek is actively seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work fully remotely.
Key Tasks Design and build developer self-service capabilities and golden path solutions on the DevSecOps platform Develop reusable templates, standards, and automation to streamline software delivery Create AI-enabled development workflows supporting Java, Python, .NET, and Azure Functions Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and platform monitoring Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve speed, reliability, and security Implement and promote DevSecOps best practices across engineering teams Build platform capabilities that improve consistency and reduce delivery friction Collaborate with development squads to drive platform adoption and continuous improvement Support security-by-design principles throughout the software development lifecycle Contribute to platform documentation, standards, and engineering best practices
Key Qualifications Proven experience designing and implementing DevSecOps platforms and developer self-service capabilities Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and modernization Demonstrated experience creating reusable infrastructure templates, deployment standards, and golden path solutions
Qualifications Proficiency with one or more of: Java, Python, .NET, Azure Functions Experience automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and monitoring Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices Experience working in Agile delivery environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with Infrastructure as Code Background in large-scale or enterprise engineering organizations Familiarity with AI-enabled development workflows
Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
