About the Opportunity:

Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organization seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join their Development team during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

The Senior Annual Giving & Direct Mail Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated annual giving campaigns, with a primary focus on direct mail fundraising. This role will manage the full campaign lifecycle, from strategy and audience segmentation through production, vendor management, campaign execution, and performance analysis.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, this role will help drive donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and revenue growth through thoughtful, data-driven fundraising initiatives.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, and using fundraising analytics to continually improve results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of annual giving and direct mail fundraising campaigns, from planning and audience segmentation through execution, reporting, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Coordinate integrated fundraising initiatives across direct mail, email, and digital channels to support donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and revenue growth.
  • Develop compelling donor communications, including appeal letters, newsletters, and stewardship materials, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize Raiser's Edge or a comparable CRM to manage donor data, build targeted audiences, and support data-driven fundraising strategies.
  • Manage relationships with print vendors, mail houses, and external partners, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, including response rates, revenue, donor trends, and return on investment, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Track campaign budgets, process invoices, and support financial administration related to annual giving initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of fundraising strategies, processes, and donor engagement initiatives while supporting broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in annual giving, direct mail fundraising, direct response fundraising, or donor engagement.
  • Experience managing end-to-end fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of direct mail fundraising best practices and donor stewardship.
  • Experience working with Raiser's Edge or another donor CRM.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret fundraising metrics and campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with external vendors, print partners, and fundraising agencies is considered an asset
