About the role

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Intern to fill a current vacancy and support the internal implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), reporting to the maintenance management team.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing environments. The intern will work closely with the maintenance team to structure data, document equipment, and help standardize maintenance processes within the CMMS.

Key activities

Assist with the internal deployment and configuration of the CMMS.

Enter, organize, and validate equipment, assets, and spare parts data.

Support the creation of preventive maintenance plans and task lists.

Help document maintenance procedures and equipment information.

Work with maintenance technicians and supervisors to gather required data.

Provide basic user support and documentation for CMMS users.

Ensure data accuracy and follow internal maintenance best practices.

Required training and experience

Currently enrolled in or recent grad from a Diploma/Degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electromechanics, maintenance management, or related field.

Previous exposure to a CMMS or ERP system (asset, maintenance, or production modules) is an asset.

Knowledge of preventative maintenance tools and spare parts management.

Skills sought

Interest in maintenance reliability, asset management or industrial operations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Works well independently and is self-motivated.

Strong attention to details with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.

Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand the interrelations within an industrial facility.
