Jardeg is currently recruiting a Pipefitter Foreperson to join the Integrated Constructors Inc team at the Cenovus Birch Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, Conklin Alberta.
The work scope includes, but is not limited to, executing rehabilitation projects for existing storage facilities, encompassing condition assessments, repairs, upgrades, and other improvement activities.
Travel allowance $300 per shift rotation***
Responsibilities
Direct daily work tasks, assign jobs to pipefitters, and mentor apprentices on site. Interpret complex isometric drawings, P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams), and technical specs for plant upgrades or repairs. Oversee the installation, alignment, and fixing of plant process piping, valves, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic lines handling water and chemicals. Enforce strict safety protocols, including confined space entry, gas monitoring, and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures. Experience with PVC glued pipe systems and assisted with small-bore HDPE pipe installation and maintenance. Any other responsibilities as required by the project scope.

CSTS 2020 with WHMIS H2S Alive ESC Confine space ESC Aerial work Platform (AWP) ESC Fall protection Pipefitter Journeyperson or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
