Senior Business Analyst
About the role
Dasro is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support one of its clients in Regina, SK.
This is an exciting opportunity for senior Business Analysts with strong experience in software delivery, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement. This is an onsite contract based in Regina, Saskatchewan, working closely with business stakeholders on a high-profile technology programs
Work Arrangements: Location: Regina, Saskatchewan Work Model: Onsite Duration: August 6, 2026 – August 31, 2027
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements. Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and facilitated workshops. Translate business needs into detailed use cases, process flows, and functional documentation. Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives. Develop planning documentation, acceptance criteria, testing materials, test scenarios, and test scripts. Facilitate workshops and presentations with business and technical stakeholders. Document complex business processes and provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements. Create business process models and customer journey maps. Develop user documentation, job aids, and other supporting materials to facilitate solution adoption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful delivery of business technology initiatives.
Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst supporting software delivery projects. Exceptional communication, documentation, facilitation, and presentation skills. Strong experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and management. Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
Preferred Qualifications Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or other relevant Business Analysis certification. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with: Business Process Modeling Journey Mapping User-Centered Design (UCD) principles Business Architecture concepts Modern technology platforms and architectures Demonstrated success driving user adoption of new technologies.
