The Opportunity We are seeking a Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the finance team on a contract basis. This role is heavily focused on billing, accounts receivable, and revenue operations within a fast-paced SaaS environment. This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of billing processes, support revenue-related initiatives, and contribute to ongoing system and process improvements. You will also play a key role in a billing system transition and automation efforts. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has strong AR and billing experience, enjoys improving processes, and thrives in an evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end customer billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle high-volume billing-related inquiries and collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve issues Investigate discrepancies and support automation improvements within billing workflows Review, reconcile, and apply customer payments Support collections activities and assist in resolving outstanding balances Assist with audit requests and revenue-related testing Support revenue accounting processes and reporting requirements Participate in the transition and implementation of a new billing platform (Chargebee) Work with NetSuite and Stripe billing integrations and support ongoing system optimization Contribute to process improvements and help build scalable finance workflows

What You Bring 7+ years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting Experience working in larger organizations and contributing to process development and improvements Strong hands-on experience with accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) Experience with billing platforms such as Stripe and/or Chargebee Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, handling large datasets) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Proactive, energetic, and self-driven approach to work
