Role: Network Security Engineer (Hybrid) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $90/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Network Security Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure to protect against cyber threats. Responsibilities include monitoring network traffic, analyzing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks. • Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time. • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into network architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role. • Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network infrastructure. • Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response.
