Description: FREB45H3 - Introduction to Linguistics: French Morphology and Syntax - Winter 2027 Course description: An examination of the internal structure of words and sentences in French. Covered are topics including word formation, grammatical categories, syntactic structure of simple and complex clauses, and grammatical relations of subject, predicate and complement.This course complements (FREB43H3) and FREB44H3. Native or near-native proficiency in French and experience teaching French as a second language. Strong academic record and professional promise. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those who have previously taught FREB45H3 or equivalent. Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours.
