About the role
We are Systematix and we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Architect to support one of our enterprise clients as they embark on a strategic CRM transformation.
ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is migrating from a legacy CRM platform to Salesforce, with an initial focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, ERP integration, web integration, and the establishment of a scalable enterprise CRM foundation.
Before implementation begins, the client requires an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Architect to assess the current state, validate existing planning and architectural work, identify gaps and risks, and develop an implementation-ready roadmap. If the client has already completed foundational analysis and design artifacts, the successful consultant will review and validate these deliverables to determine whether they provide a sufficient basis for implementation or require refinement.
This engagement is focused on establishing the right foundation before delivery begins. The successful candidate will help define the architecture, implementation approach, delivery assumptions, commercial scope, and resource requirements needed to support a successful Salesforce implementation.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES Review and validate existing CRM strategy, business requirements, process documentation, architecture, and implementation planning artifacts Assess implementation readiness by identifying gaps, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and outstanding decisions Lead discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders to confirm business objectives and future-state requirements Define the target Salesforce enterprise architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations, security, data, and governance Establish clear architectural boundaries between Salesforce, ERP, web platforms, identity services, and other enterprise applications Design scalable integration patterns, including APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, synchronization, monitoring, and error handling Develop the overall data migration strategy, including source assessment, cleansing, mapping, sequencing, reconciliation, validation, and cutover planning Recommend an appropriate balance between Salesforce configuration and customization while promoting platform best practices Translate architectural decisions into an implementation roadmap, delivery plan, work packages, backlog, timeline, resource model, and implementation assumptions Support solution estimation and preparation of the implementation proposal Provide recommendations regarding delivery team composition, required skill sets, and implementation governance Provide architectural leadership throughout implementation should the engagement proceed beyond the assessment phase
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS Extensive experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect Deep expertise designing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions Demonstrated experience leading complex CRM transformation initiatives involving legacy CRM replacement Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and integration within large-scale business environments Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with ERP platforms and other enterprise applications Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and system interoperability Experience defining enterprise data migration strategies for large-scale CRM implementations Strong understanding of Salesforce security, identity management, governance, environments, DevOps, and release management Proven ability to produce architecture blueprints, implementation roadmaps, delivery strategies, estimates, and solution documentation Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to assess existing work objectively, challenge assumptions constructively, and provide practical recommendations Experience facilitating workshops with both business and technical stakeholders Salesforce architecture certifications are considered an asset Experience within manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, industrial, or other complex enterprise environments is preferred Experience working within global or multi-business-unit organizations is preferred
ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Remote within Canada with the possibility of occasional travel to client locations as required Working Hours: Candidates must be willing to adapt to Pacific Time business hours to support a California-based client Engagement Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire Start Date: Immediate Duration: Initial assessment engagement with the potential to extend through full implementation
