Purpose:
-
Plan warehouse activities including pick ups and shipment details
-
Maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and full inventory counts
-
Main support for administrative tasksx
Area of Responsibility:
- Work closely with Warehouse Manager and team to meet customer requirements, ensuring timely shipping and accurate order processing
- Schedule pickups with delivery carriers and communicating shipment details
- Communicate any potential issues to warehouse clerk or Manager
- Maintain organized records related to warehouse activities
- Monitor shipment status through carrier systems
- Assign pick lists based on priority and work balance
- Maintain accurate system inventory through cycle counts and full inventory counts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in shipping area, adhering to 5S standards
- Ensure packaging, labeling and documentation is accurate
- Prioritize orders based on customer OTIF and business needs
- Support and seek opportunities to reduce environmental impacts through waste reductions, recycling and reduction of pollution of air, water, soil and resources.
Expected Results:

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the OTIF demands are met

Ensure Service level agreements are understood and maintained to the contractual agreements.

Inventory controls in place and daily routines met.
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including interacting with customers, sales, carriers and warehouse employees

Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in packaging, labelling and documentation

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency in SAP, data entry, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)

Physical ability to lift and move packages of varying weights
-
3-5 years’ experience in a fast paced warehouse environment

Salary: $60,000 per annum to $70,000 per annum
