Summary We are currently seeking a Sales Coordinator (1 Year Temporary) for our Valves, Actuation & Measurement team, in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, Coordinators, you will be responsible for processing customer purchase orders from receipt to delivery, procuring material through both internal and external channels, order status reporting, shipment coordination and ultimately ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the process. Role and Responsibilities • Order management, including data entry in SAP• Accountable for the successful execution and delivery of orders, including urgent and high priority • Process and acknowledge customer purchase orders in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail• Procurement responsibilities, including order placement and tracking to ensure on time deliveryCollaborate with production planners and technicians to coordinate product assembly and testing, processing change-orders and modifications as required• Create exceptional customer experiences by communicating deliverables from time of order through to shipment• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records• Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, internal partnersParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesQualifications and Skills • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience in similar role preferred• Exceptional and extensive communication skills and customer service practices• Experience working in SAP an asset• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS Office • Well-developed organization and administrative skills, detail-oriented, highly accurate• Basic project management skills including ability to plan, schedule and prioritize tasks• High degree of initiative, discretion, and integrity• Logical thinker, ability to make decisions and adapt quickly• Self-motivated, dependable and accountable, reliable delivery on commitments• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Entrepreneurial work-ethicSpartan recognizes that there are many ways in which candidates develop knowledge, abilities, and competencies throughout their careers.
