Commercial Project Manager (Revenue Operations) – 12-Month Contract

Location: Vancouver (Hybrid)

Reporting to: Head of Revenue Operations

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Commercial Project Manager to join our Revenue Operations team on a 12-month contract. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of commercial opportunities from proposal through to implementation.

As the connective tissue between Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Security, Customer Procurement teams, and Implementation, you will own the coordination and execution of key revenue-generating initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in managing customer RFPs and procurement processes, contract execution, deal governance, and post-sale handovers, ensuring opportunities progress efficiently and customers receive a seamless experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and is confident working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer RFP & Commercial Project Management

Own the end-to-end management of customer RFP, RFI, tender, and procurement response processes. Coordinate and collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, Legal, and other subject matter experts to gather information required for submissions. Prepare, complete, and submit high-quality RFP and tender responses within customer deadlines. Manage customer follow-up questions, clarification requests, and evaluation responses throughout the procurement process. Drive timelines, accountability, and delivery across all contributors to ensure submissions are accurate, compelling, and submitted on time. Maintain and continuously improve a library of standard RFP responses, supporting documentation, and submission materials. Identify risks, gaps, or dependencies that may impact submission quality or timelines and proactively drive resolution. Ensure all internal stakeholders remain aligned throughout the process and that customer requirements are clearly communicated and addressed.

Contract Execution & Deal Coordination

Manage the execution of customer contracts from commercial agreement through to signature. Act as the primary coordinator between customer procurement teams and internal Legal, Security, Finance, and Sales stakeholders. Track contract status, identify blockers, and proactively drive resolutions to maintain deal momentum. Coordinate security reviews, compliance questionnaires, procurement requirements, and legal approvals associated with customer contracts. Maintain visibility of key commercial milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders. Ensure all required approvals, documentation, and commercial terms are completed accurately and efficiently.

Deal Desk Management

Organise, facilitate, and manage bi-weekly Deal Desk meetings. Prepare agendas, documentation, commercial summaries, and decision-making materials for review. Capture actions, track follow-ups, and ensure decisions are executed in a timely manner. Support governance processes for strategic, complex, or non-standard commercial opportunities. Partner with Sales leadership and key stakeholders to ensure deal risks, approvals, and dependencies are identified and managed.

Sales-to-Implementation Handover

Own the coordination of post-sale handovers between Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams. Ensure all customer requirements, commitments, commercial terms, technical considerations, and project expectations are clearly documented and communicated. Facilitate internal handover meetings to ensure implementation teams have all necessary information to successfully onboard customers. Help establish a smooth transition that sets implementation teams and customers up for success.

Revenue Operations Support

Partner with the Head of Revenue Operations to improve commercial processes, reduce deal cycle times, and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across the revenue lifecycle. Support reporting, pipeline governance, project tracking, and strategic initiatives as required. Contribute to the development of scalable processes, templates, and documentation that support business growth.

About You

You are an exceptional organiser who can keep multiple projects moving simultaneously without losing attention to detail. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and driving outcomes across cross-functional teams.

You enjoy being at the centre of activity, bringing people together, solving problems, and ensuring critical commercial opportunities progress smoothly from initial engagement through to customer onboarding.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in project management, commercial operations, revenue operations, sales operations, deal desk, bid management, or a related role. Strong experience managing cross-functional projects involving Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Security, Customer Success, and Implementation teams. Experience preparing and managing customer RFPs, RFIs, tenders, procurement processes, or commercial submissions. Experience coordinating customer contracts, procurement workflows, legal reviews, and commercial approvals. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage effectively with executives, senior leaders, and individual contributors. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and follow-up skills. Highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot), contract management systems, and project management tools is advantageous.

What Success Looks Like

Customer RFPs, RFIs, and procurement responses are completed accurately and submitted on time. Contracts progress efficiently through procurement, legal, security, and commercial review processes. Deal Desk meetings drive clear decisions, accountability, and commercial outcomes. Sales-to-Implementation handovers are seamless, comprehensive, and well-documented. Deal cycle times are reduced through effective coordination and stakeholder management. Cross-functional stakeholders view you as a trusted partner who helps move opportunities forward and removes operational friction.
