Warehouse Attendant
About the role
The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for performing crating, packaging, packing, cleaning, loading, picking, billing, yard and building maintenance tasks. This includes, but not limited to, receiving and inventory related tasks.
Successful applicant will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical evaluation.
This position is a 6-month contract.
Hourly rate: $24.21

Perform receiving functions, and when required, shipping functions.

Maintain up to date accurate filing of documents on incoming shipments

Maintain inventory control of the warehouses and containers

Inventory: Identify and count parts, materials and equipment

Operate company equipment as per valid certifications and training

Maintain and daily checks of equipment

Staging crew with packing goods as required

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse and yard

Liaise with logistics

Assist other workers in staging shop, internal and external clients and other areas as required

Order supplies and create work orders as required
Education
Required: High school diploma with relevant work experience
Preferred: Heavy Equipment Operator,
Work Experience:
Required: 1-2 years’ general work experience in Heavy Equipment Operator, shipping/receiving, inventory control, warehousing and/or procurement
Preferred: Three (3) years of related experience in a mining environment, Heavy Equipment Operator, shipping receiving, inventory control, warehousing, procurement
