Role: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $20 - $30/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Accountant (CPA/CA) to work on a contract basis. The role involves providing financial reporting and compliance support for a global team. Responsibilities include month-end close, tax filings, and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards. • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, across multiple jurisdictions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • CPA or CA certification with 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audit documentation. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
