Position: Public Policy Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50–$60/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 15–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Work asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain. Craft policy research tasks involving legislative tracking, federal budget data extraction, and regulatory database searches across government portals. Create detailed evaluation rubrics for AI agent performance. Collaborate to inform the future of AI innovation with real-world applicability. Shape high-quality, challenging problems in your domain expertise.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD or Master's in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field from a top US/Canada/UK/New Zealand/Australia university. Experience with government databases (OpenStates, FOIA.gov, OMB, federal agency data portals, Congressional Research Service). 2+ years of professional experience in government, think tanks, policy research, or public sector consulting. High attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent proficiency in English. Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.

Start Date
