Role SummaryThe SAP Fioneer FPSL Banking Consultant is responsible for hands on functional configuration and implementation of SAP Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) for banking products.The role supports detailed design| build| testing| and deployment of intregration with source system| event based accounting| ensuring accurate subledger postings and seamless integration with SAP S4HANA Finance in line with IFRS 9 and local GAAP requirements.The consultant acts as a functional execution specialist| translating approved finance designs into FPSL configuration and supporting testing| reconciliation| and go live activities.Key Responsibilities1. FPSL Functional Configuration (Banking)Configure FPSL objects for banking products including oLoans and advancesoDepositsoMoney market instrumentsoSecurities bonds (if in scope)Implement FPSL components oContract types and contract attributesoEvent types and event processingoPosting schemas and accounting determinationsSupport setup of oValuation areasoSubledger accounting layersoAccounting principles ledgers2. Accounting IFRS 9 SupportImplement FPSL accounting logic aligned to oIFRS 9 classification (AC FVOCI FVTPL)oEffective Interest Rate (EIR) based accrualsoFee and charge handlingSupport postings related to oInitial recognitionoAccruals and amortizationoDerecognition eventsAssist Finance LeadArchitect in validating oAccounting outcomesoPosting results at contract and GL level3.
