The Initiative Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to build a benchmark dataset evaluating advanced AI models. We are looking for domain experts to assess the AI's "visual document understanding" and instruction-following capabilities specifically within the Energy/Utilities sector. You will be helping to train AI on how to correctly interpret complex industry documents, technical reports, and schematics.

💰 Compensation & Structure 🔹 Rate: $50 USD per hour. 🔹 Format: 100% Remote, independent contractor role. 🔹 Commitment: Part-time, flexible scheduling requiring 15–20 hours per week. 🔹 Payments: Processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

🎯 Core Responsibilities Evaluate and benchmark AI models on their visual document understanding within the energy and utilities domain. Author complex, deeply grounded tasks based on real-world industry scenarios. Establish clear, factual "ground-truth" outputs for AI responses. Develop strictly objective rubrics to score model accuracy, logical reasoning, and instruction-following.
