Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail

Day in the Life

In this role, a typical day involves supporting the HR team by ensuring employee records are accurately filed, organized, and maintained in both physical and digital formats. You would review and screen employee files to confirm all documentation is complete, properly categorized, and up to date, while identifying and flagging any missing information. Throughout the day, you collaborate closely with the benefits team to scan, upload, and electronically archive pension and benefits-related forms, contributing to ongoing digitization and file clean-up initiatives that improve HR processes. You also provide administrative and ad-hoc support on various projects, assist with data filing and maintaining tracking spreadsheets, and help keep documents well-organized. Handling sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism is a constant priority, ensuring compliance and trust across all HR activities.
