Assignment:

• Part-time 0.78 Educational Assistant position

• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

• To provide support and assistance to diverse students in a grade 4-6 classroom setting

Qualifications and/or Assets:

• Experience working with students with complex academic and behavioral needs
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Calm and patient approach to working with students and solving problems
• Experience with complex behaviors would be considered an asset
• Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment
• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Knowledge, understanding and experience with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and behavioral needs would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented collaborative learning environment
• Flexibility to work in a variety of programs
