About the role

A career as a Chief Analyst, Transformation, Capital Insights in the Capital Analysis team at National Bank means acting as a process transformation and regulatory capital analytics specialist. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the Bank's capital management capabilities thanks to your expertise in finance, data and technology.

Your job Support partners in the Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and business lines sectors in initiatives related to regulatory capital and process transformation. Lead modernisation initiatives aimed at automating, simplifying and optimising regulatory capital metrics production processes. Design and deploy analytical and technological solutions to improve data quality, operational efficiency and the robustness of controls. Analyze regulatory ratios and assess the financial, operational and strategic impacts of the Bank's projects and initiatives. Develop dashboards, management indicators and decision-making tools to promote proactive capital management. Influence the sector's orientations by sharing your expertise and contributing to the development of the team's practises, technologies and skills.

You are part of the Capital Analysis team in the Finance sector and report to the Senior Manager. Our team stands out for its expertise at the intersection of finance, regulations, data and technology. We contribute to the production and analysis of regulatory capital metrics while supporting strategic initiatives that shape the future of our analytical and operational capabilities. Prerequisites A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience. Significant experience in the financial, banking or regulatory sectors Experience in process transformation, automation or continuous improvement. Proficiency in data analysis and programming tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, Snowflake, VBA or equivalent technologies. Experience with visualisation and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau or comparable tools. Solid knowledge of regulatory capital, balance sheet management or financial risks

Languages: French, English Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
