A little about the position:

Job Summary

Material Handler / Forklift Operator – Responsible for the movement, storage, and handling of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures efficient production flow by safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support manufacturing operations.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments in a safe and efficient manner.Ensure proper storage, organization, and inventory control of materials and products.
• Supply production lines with required materials to maintain workflow.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with production and warehouse teams to meet daily targets.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• 0–3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility to work on production floor in slow season.

Status: 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.
