Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a SAP PP/QM Consultant based in Montreal, QC. The role involves analyzing and optimizing production planning (PP) and quality management (QM) business processes in SAP, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design. The consultant will configure and customize SAP PP/QM modules, manage master data related to materials, BOMs, routings, and quality inspection plans, and ensure integration with related modules such as SAP FICO. Daily activities include working closely with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical specifications, performing system testing, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing end-user training and documentation. The role also includes troubleshooting production issues, recommending process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure stable and efficient operations. Qualifications Strong understanding of Business Process analysis and design, particularly in manufacturing, production planning, and quality management. Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, analyze data, and propose effective SAP-based solutions. Consulting experience, including stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, and clear communication with technical and non-technical partners. Hands-on experience with SAP PP/QM and familiarity with SAP FICO integration and related end-to-end business flows. Experience with Master Data management in SAP (materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection plans, and related objects). Proficiency in documenting functional specifications, test cases, process flows, and user guides. Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, or similar process-driven industries is an asset. Professional fluency in English; French language skills are an advantage.
