About the role
We are seeking vigilant and qualified individuals to join our team as Waterpark Lifeguards. As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of guests enjoying our water park facilities. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities during our seasonal operation from June to September.
Candidates must possess current lifeguard certification, CPR-C, and First Aid.
Reliable transportation to and from work is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
-Monitor waterpark attractions and lake perimeter to ensure guest safety.
-Enforce waterpark rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order.
-Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing rescue and first aid as necessary.
-Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational safety.
-Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
-Collaborate with fellow lifeguards and staff to coordinate response to incidents and ensure smooth operations.
-Participate in ongoing training sessions and drills to maintain proficiency in lifesaving techniques.
-Assist with maintenance tasks as required, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
-Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall guest experience at the waterpark.
-Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
-Current National lifeguard (NL) certificate
-Current CPR-C and First Aid.
-Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to perform rescue maneuvers.
-Excellent observation and communication skills.
-Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
-Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation to and from work.
-Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a related field is preferred but not required.
-Must be at least 16 years old (age requirements may vary depending on jurisdiction).
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $19 - $22/hr (depending on experience)
