Job Description:
Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the course coordinator (Susanne Mak), the teaching assistants (TA) will participate in the following course activities:
- Attend and assist in (as needed) lectures on the Canadian Health Act, the Quebec Healthcare System, Indigenous session, social determinants of health and global health, innovative health care, code of ethics and ethics framework (approx. 30 hours) for preparation for grading of assignments and oral exam.
- Two of these lectures will require the TA to introduce speakers.
- Co-evaluate sections of assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
- Be present for two full days during the second week of December for the course’s oral exam.
Salary: $38.46/hour

Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student (OT or PT) in Rehabilitation Sciences at SPOT.
The following are not required but are considered assets to this TAship:
- Experience working in the Quebec healthcare sector including familiarity with system reforms.
- Ability to read (and evaluate student submissions) in French.
- Graduate teaching experience.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
