Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst / Project Leader to support a housing system modernization initiative involving the migration of data from a legacy HCL Domino (Lotus Notes) system to Yardi / Rent Café. This is a hands-on delivery role, combining data analysis, ETL execution, and project coordination. The successful candidate will take ownership of data mapping, validation, and migration execution, while coordinating across vendors and internal teams. The role includes collaboration with a senior consultant providing project coaching, oversight, and escalation support.

Project Context This initiative involves: Migration of complex, partially undocumented legacy data Coordination across multiple vendors and internal stakeholders Execution within a time-sensitive and resource-constrained environment Validation of data to ensure accuracy and readiness for system go-live

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Transformation Analyze extracted data from legacy systems, including complex and undocumented structures Define and document data mappings from source to target system Identify data quality issues and support cleansing and transformation

ETL Configuration & Migration Support Populate and manage vendor-provided ETL templates Support multiple migration cycles and resolve mapping issues Validate data transformation outputs prior to system load

Data Validation & Reconciliation Perform field-level validation and reconciliation between source and target data Work closely with business users to confirm data accuracy Identify and resolve discrepancies before final migration

Project Coordination Coordinate day-to-day migration activities across: Data extraction vendor System vendor Internal business and IT teams Track tasks, risks, and dependencies Ensure timelines are maintained and issues are escalated

Migration Planning Support Support development and execution of a detailed migration plan Assist in sequencing: Extraction Mapping and transformation Testing cycles Go-live preparation Identify risks and contribute to mitigation planning

Collaboration & Reporting Work with a senior consultant providing oversight and coaching Participate in structured decision-making and documentation Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations clearly

Required Experience Strong experience in: Data analysis and transformation, ETL-based data migration Experience working with complex or poorly documented data sources Ability to interpret data structures and resolve inconsistencies Experience coordinating work across multiple teams or stakeholders

Preferred Experience Exposure to: HCL Domino / Lotus Notes, Yardi Rent Café Experience in: System implementations or data migrations
