TSR Consulting is currently seeking a highly motivated (Senior Data Platform Engineer) for an opportunity in (Halifax, or Montreal, Toronto)

Position Title: Senior Data Platform Engineer Location: Halifax, or Montreal, Toronto Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date, and it is subject to change. TSR Consulting will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6+ months, possible extension based on business needs Job Type: Onsite – 5 days Pay Range: $70.00/hr.- $75.00/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description: Required: Database administration and optimization: MongoDB (NoSQL), MS SQL (SQL), Redis, Elasticsearch Data modeling and schema design Query tuning and optimization ETL/ELT Pipeline development and support Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow, schedulers, and cron jobs Event streaming and messaging: Apache Kafka and Solace Data ingestion, transformation, and integration Monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and production support Security, access control, and environment configurations
