CNS Psychology

Psychometrist administers and scores a variety of psychological tests to clients. The Psychometrist will support Psychologists through the administration and scoring of current intellectual, academic, social-emotional assessment protocols as part of the psychological assessment. Duties also include the maintenance of patient testing files, test materials, and databases.

Temporary Full-Time

Hours of work: 37.5

Duration: up to February 2027

Rate of Pay: $36.04 per hour - $45.05 per hour

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Psychology, or related discipline
• Minimum one (1) year of recent, related experience
• Reliable and valid psychological test administration
• Accurate response transcription and test scoring skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing challenging patients (e.g., brain injury, dementia, major mental illness)
• Proficient in computerized scoring software
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
