Role: Embedded Engineer Location: Markham, ON (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months We are seeking an Embedded Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract in Markham. The ideal candidate will have experience developing embedded firmware, debugging hardware/software issues, and working with cross-functional engineering teams. Responsibilities Develop and maintain embedded firmware. Debug and optimize embedded systems. Support board bring-up and hardware integration. Collaborate with hardware and software teams. Participate in testing, code reviews, and documentation. Required Skills Strong programming in C/C++ Experience with ARM Cortex microcontrollers Embedded Linux and/or FreeRTOS Communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN Debugging using JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers Version control with Git Familiarity with Python for scripting is a plus Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of embedded software/firmware development experience. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
