About the role

Position Overview We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable File Clerk (Temporary) to support our team during an office relocation project. This short-term assignment will involve organizing, cataloging, and preparing physical files and records for transfer, while maintaining accurate tracking systems and ensuring confidentiality of company information. The successful candidate will work closely with internal team members and play a key role in supporting the smooth transition and organization of company records.

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour Employment Type: Temporary Assignment (Approximately 2–3 Weeks) Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities Organize, sort, and prepare physical files and records for packing and relocation. Box, label, and catalogue files accurately according to company procedures. Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets to track file inventory and locations using Microsoft Excel. Assist with records management and document organization activities. Ensure all files and records are properly identified and documented. Perform data entry and administrative support tasks as required. Assist with light physical duties, including lifting, moving, and organizing file boxes. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive company information. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Support general administrative and office duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in file management, records management, administration, or clerical support preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to accurately manage large volumes of files and documentation. Comfortable performing light physical work, including lifting and moving file boxes. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively. Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions Temporary assignment for approximately 2–3 weeks. Combination of administrative tasks and light physical work. Collaborative office environment with direct support from internal team members. Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
