Based in Toronto, with the option to work from the Waterloo office.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br/></b></div><div><br/></div><div>? Support the effective operation of the regulatory compliance management program, including the design, maintenance, and execution of the second line of defence monitoring and testing program.<br/></div><div>? Design and plan the monitoring and testing program in collaboration with the Director, Compliance and Second Line of Defence Testing and the Chief Compliance Officer, based on regulatory expectations and risk levels.<br/></div><div>? Conduct second line of defence monitoring and testing activities, including annual testing plans, execution of testing, control reviews and assessments, stakeholder coordination, report preparation, and documentation of action plans.<br/></div><div>? Communicate weaknesses in key controls to business stakeholders and provide recommendations to mitigate compliance risks.<br/></div><div>? Support the ongoing management of monitoring and testing programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met.<br/></div><div>? Develop, update, and maintain team training programs related to compliance requirements.<br/></div><div>? Maintain the regulatory compliance management database by ensuring testing plans, results, findings, and control assessments are accurately documented and updated.<br/></div><div>? Act as a compliance point of contact for monitoring and testing activities.<br/></div><div>? Support the management of compliance issues and action plans in collaboration with business partners and compliance leadership.<br/></div><div>? Prepare and coordinate quarterly and annual compliance reporting and attestations, including materials for Board and Committee meetings.<br/></div><div>? Maintain records within the team SharePoint site and document repository.<br/></div><div>? Review, prepare, and develop documentation in response to regulatory requests.<br/></div><div>? Collaborate with compliance, audit, risk, governance, legal, and business teams across the organization.<br/></div><div>? Participate in additional tasks and compliance-related activities as assigned.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>What you will need to succeed:</b><b><br/></b></div><div><br/></div><div>? Bachelor?s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br/></div><div>? Professional designation in audit or accounting preferred, such as CPA, CIA, CAMS, or similar certifications.<br/></div><div>? 5 years of compliance or audit experience in banking or financial services.<br/></div><div>? Experience in banking compliance and regulatory compliance testing.<br/></div><div>? Strong knowledge of banking regulations and legislation, including the Bank Act, PCMLTFA, and PIPEDA.<br/></div><div>? Experience with monitoring and testing programs, including design, execution, and reporting.<br/></div><div>? Ability to review, interpret, and document legislation and regul
