♻️ WASTE AND RECYCLING ATTENDANT

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collect waste and recyclable materials from designated areas
- Sort waste and recycling according to site procedures
- Move bins, containers, and other waste receptacles to designated collection areas
- Return bins and containers to their proper locations after collection
- Clean and maintain garbage rooms, loading areas, common areas, and surrounding spaces
- Clean up spills and remove loose waste or debris
- Perform general site-maintenance duties
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concerns
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as required
THE PERFECT MATCH
You are someone who:
- Enjoys staying active and performing hands-on work
- Is reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Has good stamina and is comfortable with physical work
- Can walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Is comfortable moving bins and containers
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
- Has strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Can follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
- Has previous waste management, custodial, porter, or similar experience an asset, but not required
- No previous experience is required training will be provided
