About the role
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and reliable Student Photographer to capture the energy and excitement of campus life. If you have a passion for photography and enjoy telling stories through images, we'd love to have you join our team! As the Student Photographer, you'll attend SRC events and activities, capturing high-quality photos that showcase student engagement and help promote the vibrant St. Clair College community. Responsibilities Photograph SRC events, activities, and campus initiatives. Capture candid moments, group photos, and event highlights.. Work collaboratively with the SRC Marketing and Events teams to capture requested content. Maintain photography equipment and ensure files are properly stored and organized. Represent the SRC in a professional and positive manner while interacting with students, staff, and event attendees. Qualifications Current St. Clair College student in good academic standing. Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and photography techniques. Experience using photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop is considered an asset. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Creative, dependable, and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Previous event or sports photography experience. Experience creating content for social media platforms. Knowledge of branding and visual storytelling. What You'll Gain Hands-on photography experience in a fast-paced environment.
