Job Description Reporting to the Director of Operations, the successful candidate will work closely with the project managers and the development team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the team at client events. The successful candidate will help install and configure technology equipment, train organizing teams and provide on-site technical support. Between events, they will assist clients, provide customer service and contribute to quality assurance testing for the PairConnex platform. The role has three main components: Install and configure technology equipment at event check-in stations, including thermal printers and laptops, and provide on-site technical support; Guide clients through the configuration and use of the platform; Participate in quality assurance testing and the continuous improvement of the PairConnex platform. Main Responsibilities Technology Deployment and Event Support Travel to event venues to support clients. Assist with the setup and preparation of event check-in stations. Install and configure the laptops and thermal printers used to print badges. Verify that all equipment and technology tools are working properly before participants arrive. Train organizing teams on badge printing. Train organizing teams to use the PairConnex application for access control. Provide technical support and customer service to participants at the event support desk. Help participants use the PairConnex mobile application and resolve any issues they encounter. Respond quickly and calmly when unexpected technical issues arise. Document issues, observations and feedback gathered on site. Share findings and improvement opportunities arising from the on-site event experience with the team. Client Support and Guidance Respond to support requests received by email or telephone and complete the necessary follow-ups. Answer client questions about using the administration console when a project manager is unavailable, with support from an experienced team member as needed. Participate in virtual meetings, as needed, to guide clients in using the platform and resolve any issues they encounter. Collaborate with project managers to support the preparation and delivery of events. Provide professional, reassuring support to clients and partners in Quebec and abroad. Quality Assurance and Platform Improvement Perform quality assurance testing for new features and updates to the mobile application and administration console. Identify, reproduce and clearly document any issues encountered. Act as a liaison between the needs expressed by clients, project managers and the development team. Validate fixes before they are released to production. Gather client feedback and recommend improvements. Contribute to the evolution of the tools, processes and user experience. Commitment to client satisfaction and event success. Requirements Excellent command of both English and French, spoken and written. While day-to-day internal operations are conducted in French, the successful candidate will regularly provide support in English to clients and partners outside Quebec. Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Comfortable using mobile devices and iOS and Android applications. Ability to quickly learn how to use new software, equipment and applications. Ability to travel frequently to event venues throughout Quebec. Availability to work evenings, early mornings or weekends, depending on the event schedule. Availability for multi-day travel. Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle. Assets Experience in customer service or technical support. Experience in event planning. Experience working with technology. Experience working with international clients or partners. Familiarity with PairConnex, Jira or Confluence. Employment Conditions Fixed-term contract through December 18, 2026, with the possibility of renewal. Start date no later than August 31, 2026. 40-hour workweek. Regular working hours are performed remotely, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Variable schedule during events, which may include early morning departures, evenings and weekends. All hours worked outside normal office hours are paid at time and a half. Salary commensurate with experience. Remote work between events. Travel expenses reimbursed in accordance with company policy. Laptop and work accessories provided. In-person team meetings as needed. Dynamic, relaxed and collaborative work environment.
