Title: Clerk, Shipping and Receiving
Salary: $48,234 - $60,292 - $66,322 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: 1-Year Term
Hours: 37.5 hours, 8:00am-4:00pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Prince Rupert, B.C. - Coast Tsimshian communities. Extensive travel throughout the communities served.

About the role

This position will support last-mile shipping of biologics, medical equipment, supplies, and lab samples to the Coast Tsimshian communities. The employee will maintain records of all receiving and distribution, work closely with external partners to ensure the proper logistics are in place, and help to troubleshoot any issues and complexities that arise. Moreover, this position will help to ensure that remote communities on the coast receive timely access to medications and supplies that are needed to support their health and wellness.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have –

Education & Experience

  • Completion of Grade 12 with Business or Office Administration Certificate, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience working with BC First Nations Communities and/or organizations.
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office Suite, excel, word, power point with an aptitude to embrace mastery of new computer systems and databases.
  • Experience in the establishment and maintenance of filing systems and file management processes.
  • Experience in handling sensitive confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner.
  • Valid BC driver's license.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
