Join Our Team as an Adult Day Service Worker at Overlander Extended Centre in Kamloops! Your Role As an Adult Day Service Worker, you will work under the supervision of the Adult Day Centre Program Supervisor and within a client-centered model. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients, assisting them in carrying out established programs and activities of daily living tasks. You will implement and participate in activation, life skills, recreational, and social activities designed to meet the needs of clients, providing demonstrations as required. Your role includes adapting and modifying activities to meet the special needs of clients, setting up and organizing furnishings and equipment for programs and special events, accompanying clients to programs, teaching activity techniques, and overseeing participation while reporting any changes to the supervisor. What We Offer This is a casual opportunity with possible day shifts from Tuesday to Friday, 08:30-16:30, on an as-needed basis.
