As part of our community, we support your health and wellness and work in unity with our partners to provide you with caring and integrated services. Founded by The Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre and Sanctuary Refugee Health Centre, our services are responsive to individual health goals, and together we create healthy communities. We offer evidence-informed, innovative healthcaring for anyone facing barriers to health services, including people who are newcomers, refugees, experiencing homelessness or precarious housing and who are challenged by other social influences of health in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

Client Services Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

The Client Services Assistant acts as the first point of contact at the reception desk, providing administrative support and navigational assistance to community members. They also manage electronic records, handle incoming communications, and provide crisis intervention support as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Medical Secretary - Outreach - 12m

The Medical Secretary provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Outreach team, including scheduling appointments and managing client charts. They also handle referral correspondence, third-party billing, and data collection to support efficient primary health care delivery.

Registered Dietitian - 18 Months

Provide community-based nutritional assessments, diabetes self-management education, and behavior change support for individuals with type 2 diabetes. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to develop and evaluate diabetes education programs and improve community food security.
