Wigmore Regional Hospital City/Town: Moose Jaw Department: Computed Tomography Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 02, 2027 FTE: 0.85 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 24 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 17 $40.610 to $43.510 (3 step range) Travel Required: No Job Description: Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: ♦ Mammography ♦ Angiography (IR) ♦ Computerized Tomography (CT) Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist Education * Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma Licenses * Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists * College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan Other Education and Training * Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required * Angiography training/certificate, as required * Mammography training/certificate, as required Competencies * Basic - Computer skills * Communication skills * Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to work independently Other Information * May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives * Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation * Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK * Valid driver's license, where required * Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists * Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists * Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period. Requirements
Requires an advanced diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology and 24 months of experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Must be registered and certified with CAMRT and CMRIPSK.
