Position #: 121516 Expected Start Date: September 30, 2026 Union: CUPE Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: Day Surgery Combined OPR & Post-Anesthetic RR & Pre- & Post-Operative Care Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: November 06, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: Per 12 weeks: * 36 shifts of 11.78 hours * 3 shifts of 8 hours Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 16 $36.160 to $38.720 (3 step range) Travel Required: No Job Description: Promotes health and healing by functioning as a member of the care team to provide optimum care for convalescent, acutely/chronically ill, home care and long-term care clients/patients/residents. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Practical Nursing diploma Licenses * College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan Membership * College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan (CLPNS) Knowledge and Abilities * Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs * Strong interpersonal skills * Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) * Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team * Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands * Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice Other Information * Valid driver's license, where required * IV Course Certification required or willing to obtain within six months at your own expense.
