The student will work as part of the mechanical team on a variety of commercial building systems projects. They will assist in design and construction phases while receiving mentorship from subject matter experts.

The student will perform supervised design calculations and element design for various structural systems including steel, concrete, and timber. They will also produce design sketches, support construction activities through document review, and participate in field investigations.

The Design Co-op will assist in the production of design and construction drawings, diagrams, and renderings while coordinating with various engineering teams. The role also involves attending site visits and meetings while collaborating with the Toronto design team.

The co-op student will assist the lead architect with schematic design, contract documents, and the production of 3D renderings and VR walkthroughs. They will also participate in site visits, client meetings, and general architectural design exercises.

The inspector will provide on-site construction supervision and inspection for Class 1 railway projects to ensure compliance with contract documents and safety regulations. They are responsible for maintaining accurate daily records, conducting site surveys, and reporting project status to the Project Manager.

The Transportation Planning Co-op will assist a team of professionals with transit planning, master plans, environmental assessments, and travel demand modeling. Responsibilities include data analysis, GIS mapping, policy research, and supporting public consultation efforts.
